These beautiful, hand-crochet toys are made by the women at Cambodia Knits. The employment they receive from making these koalas and other Sleepy toys help them support their families and provides a variety of support systems to their families.
Given individual names, this little koala is suitably called 'Syd'. He is a very good sleeper and can fall asleep almost anywhere, even whilst sitting on a eucalyptus branch! In fact, he prefers to spend most of the day sleeping, waking only for food - typical Aussie icon!
